Academic Proofreading
One thing I enjoy is reading papers of students, proofing them for mistakes, and if requested offering suggestions for changes. I won’t write a student’s paper, but I will help correct basics such as spelling and punctuation mistakes to help them learn. I am familiar with APA, CMS, and MLA formatting and have recently reviewed current English grammar.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree and a Master of Liberal Arts degree, both from Southern Methodist University and completed a thesis. My pricing for academic proofreading is student-friendly and dependent on the level of degree and purpose of the paper.
Formatting Services
I will format the paper at the time of proofreading for an extra fee per page.
Word Processing Software
I can edit documents in Microsoft Word, Apple Pages, or online in Google Docs. Each of these applications allows me to use the tracking feature so that you can see the changes I recommend, approve them, and hopefully learn from them.
All papers must be in 12 point Times New Roman font, double spaced, and 1″ margins. If the paper is not provided in that format, I will convert it to that format.
Pricing and Payment
I price my academic proofreading at $5 per page (approximately 250 words). Formatting the paper into the appropriate academic format is $2 per page. Pricing is based on the page count of a paper saved in the specifications above, and on the largest word count whether the initial or final paper.
The student will receive an estimate and a final invoice payable upon receipt. I accept Credit Card through PayPal, PayPal transfers, Venmo, or Apple Pay.
